Bookings

Bookings will only be confirmed and accepted on receipt of the specified deposit. We can accept all major Credit Cards, Postal Orders, Cash and Cheques made payable to Kittywake Canal Cruises. Cheques must clear before a booking can be accepted and confirmed. ( Cheques must be sent 14 days prior to the hire peroid to confirm your booking. )

 

Payment

For Private charter, An Invoice will be issued showing the deposit paid and the outstanding amount due, Which are payable 7 days prior to the charter hire period. If the charter date is within 7 days - then the full payment is required to confirm the booking.

Cancellation

In the event of cancellation by the hirer, they shall be liable for the whole of the charter fee. If for any reason, it is necessary for kittywake canal cruises to cancel to booking - then the deposit or whole charter fee ( which has been payed ) shall be refunded in full, But the hirer shall have no further claim on the company.

The Hirer

The Hirer - Who must be a named individual over the age of 18, Is responsible for the behavior of all the members of their party and for reimbursing kittywake canal cruises for any damage that may occur to the vessel or its fixtures and fittings.

The Skipper

The Skipper will be in sole charge of the vessel and all aspects of the cruise/venue throughout the charter period and is authorised to take whatever steps necessary to ensure the safety of the passengers, crew, staff and vessel.

Passengers

Passengers shall not board or leave the vessel other then by the proper access provided and only once a crewmember has confirmed it is safe to do so. The Company, whilst taking all precautions shall not be held responsible for any damage or injury to property or passengers whilst onboard or ashore, however caused.

Food & Drink

Food and Drink consumed by passengers must be provided by the company.
